Nancy Susanne McNeeley Gardenhire, age 74, a cherished resident of Tiger, Georgia, passed away on April 4th, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. Born to the late Albert McNeeley and the late Marion Mildred Cecil McNeeley, Nancy was a beacon of light in her community, leaving behind a legacy of love and kindness.

Nancy was a woman of diverse interests and talents. Her passion for gardening was evident in the lush beauty that adorned her home, a testament to her nurturing spirit and green thumb. Cooking was another one of her joys, and her kitchen was always filled with the tantalizing scents of her culinary creations.

Faith played a central role in Nancy's life, providing her with strength and comfort in times of need. Her unwavering belief in the power of love and grace guided her through life's challenges, serving as a source of inspiration to those around her.

Above all, Nancy treasured her family above all else. Whether embarking on shopping adventures with her daughters and granddaughters or simply enjoying their company at home, she found immense joy in their presence. Her love knew no bounds, and her family was the center of her world.

Nancy had a special affinity for nature, finding solace in its beauty and tranquility. She took great delight in watching the colorful array of birds that frequented her garden, ensuring that her bird feeders were always full to attract these feathered visitors.

In addition to her love for nature, Nancy was a gifted crafter whose creativity knew no bounds. Her handmade creations brought joy to all who received them, a reflection of her talent and thoughtfulness.

But perhaps Nancy's greatest gift was her ability to listen. People were drawn to her compassionate nature and empathetic ear, finding solace and understanding in her presence.

Nancy Susanne McNeeley Gardenhire will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Though she may no longer walk among us, her spirit will live on in the hearts of those who loved her. May she rest in peace, surrounded by the beauty and love she brought into the world.

Nancy is survived by her loving husband, Andy Gardenhire; children, Amy Freeman (David) and Heather Gardenhire (Brendon Cornwell); siblings, Mary Jeanne Simmons and Vicki Sewell; grandchildren, Kaitlyn Freeman, Hannah Freeman and Abigail Freeman.

The family will receive friend at Beck funeral Home Saturday April 13th 2024 from 10:00 AM until 11:30 AM.

A funeral service will be held Saturday April 13th 2024 at Clayton First United Methodist church at 12:00 Noon with Rev. Don Landon officiating burial to follow in the Harvey Cemetery.
