Carlene English Worley

Carlene English Worley, age 73, of Tiger, GA, passed away on July 11, 2017 with her family around her.

Carlene was born the daughter of the late James Carlton English and Willie Melissa McCall Dixon. She was known for her love of the outdoors. She loved to fish and camp, making crafts, or simply spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed the beach, and searching for seashells on the shore was a favorite pastime of hers. In her professional life, Carlene was a caregiver, and lovingly took great care of all her patients.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Truitt Vincent Worley; two sons, Rick Worley and Ryan Worley.

Her survivors include two sons, Randy Worley (Tracey), of Lakemont, GA, Rodney Worley (Jennifer), of Franklin, NC; one daughter, Rowanda Burrell (Scott), of Tiger, GA; three grandchildren, Tyler Worley, Emma Worley and Grace Worley.  

The family will receive friends on Wednesday July 12, 2017 from 6-8 pm at the Beck Funeral Home

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 13, 2017, at 5:00pm in the chapel of the Beck Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Cannon officiating.

A committal service will follow the funeral at the Joy Baptist Church Cemetery, in Tiger, GA.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers donations be made in Carlene’s honor to the Sid Weber Memorial Cancer Fund P.O. Box 485  Rabun Gap, GA 30568
