Carolyn Turpin, 73, of Clayton, went to be with the lord December 25, 2016. Carolyn was the daughter of Lorene Dotson Rogers and the late Ransom Rogers.
She worked at the Rabun County Recycling center and made many friends through her work. She never met a stranger and was friendly to all that she met. She was a loving mother and grandmothers. Her granddaughter affectionately called her Mem.
Her father preceded Carolyn in death.
She is survived by her mother; one son, Justin Turpin of Hiawassee, Ga; one daughter, Tracy Pratt of Atlanta, Ga; one brother, Jan Rogers of Watkinsville, Ga; one sister, Glenda Rogers of Clayton, GA; one granddaughter, Riley Turpin.
At Carolyn’s request, she was cremated and the family will have a service at a later date.
