Claudia Victoria (Darnell) Scott

Claudia Scott, age 69, of Clayton, Georgia passed away on March 29, 2018 at her home.

Claudia was born the daughter of the late Claude Darnell and Edith Burrell Darnell on April 4, 1948 in Clayton, Georgia.

Claudia was a Christian and a member of the Black Rock Baptist Church.

Her survivors include her son, William Moulder, of Potsdam, New York; her daughter, Christina M. Townsend, of Clayton, Georgia; two sisters, Margaret Giles, of Mt. Airy, Georgia, Hazel Hurst, of Coweeta, North Carolina; 6 grandchildren, William L. Moulder, Erica Buckner, Kristen Buckner, Charity Taylor, Matthew Townsend, Michael Townsend, Caleb Gordon; as well as five great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Monday April 2, 2018 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the Beck Funeral Home.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday April 3, 2018 at 2:00 pm the Beck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jim Carver and Rev. Dennis Dills officiating.

Interment will follow at the Head of Tennessee Baptist Church Cemetery in Dillard, Georgia. 

The family asks that in lieu of flowers donations be made in Claudia’s memory to the American Cancer Society 2565 Thompson Bridge Road Suite 114 Gainesville, GA  30501.
