We were sorry to see if John’s passing after reading his obituary in the Denver Post. You possibly don’t know us, but you and John hold a special place in our hearts, in 1989, when Gary was 50, we are convinced that John saved Gary’s life after being diagnosed with aggressive prostatic cancer. I also actively supported your political career around the same time and experienced some of the same political disappointments. Anyway, we want you to know, that you both left a legacy. Our deepest sympathy to you, Martha and your family.

We were shocked and saddened to learn of John's passing. He was a kind friend, successful healer, and talented farmer. He will be missed by the many he touched. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Martha, Shelly, Lisa, John, Jr., and the grandchildren. We regret that we did not learn of John's death in time to attend his funeral.

Truly one of the best men to ever walk the face of this earth. We were so blessed and fortunate to have "John the doctor" to support us as my husband, "John the patient" fought a courageous battle against pancreatic cancer. Dr. Ezzard made life bearable and I've never met a more compassionate, dedicated and loving man. I will owe him a debt of gratitude until my last breath and will forever hold love for him and his spirit in my heart. Much love and light to Martha and all the family. I know you all know how proud he was of you. His love for each of you shone brightly as he shared stories of your lives and adventures. He can rest well knowing his legacy shines on...

I am so very sorry, to the Ezzard family, for the loss of Dr. Ezzard. He was a kind, funny man who put the care of his patients before any other concern.
I worked for him and Dr. Gober for 2 1/2 years. I so appreciate his service to the community, as well as, members of my family. In fact; it was while arriving early to open up the clinic in Toccoa one Thursday afternoon that I met my husband in the clinic parking lot! He had parked at the clinic, due to overflow parking from a political event next door. That was 10 years ago and we now have 6 children.
Dr. Ezzard would then end up doing a cancer surgery for my husbands brother and a procedure for my adopted son. He has been intertwined in part of my life story and he will be missed.
Prayers and condolences to your family.

I will forever remember Dr. Ezzard and the time I was able to spend working for him at Tiger Urology. His hands stained from pressing grapes. His wit and wisdom were only surpassed by his amazingly kind heart and genuine spunk. He will be missed and remembered as one of the great ones. I am truly saddened for your lose. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
