Lisa, Jim, Nathan, Trent and the Thompson family and loved ones of precious little Emily have my deepest sympathy. No other pain will ever be greater than the pain of losing a child.
Isaiah 66:13a says: “As a mother comforts her son, so I (Jehovah Psalm 83:18) will keep comforting you.”
Revelations 21: 4; "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore."
Jehovah invites you to throw all your burdens on Him and He will sustain you in your time of grief. (Psalm 34:18)
(2 Corinthians 4:18) "while we keep our eyes, not on the things seen, but on the things unseen. For the things seen are temporary, but the things unseen are everlasting."

I remember us teasing you about your "self" haircut.
I remember you and Amelia leading our Leprechaun treasure hunt.
I loved you in your little pink, and black short outfit,
but most of all I will love you forever in my heart.
I was so honored and privileged to have been your Pre-K Teacher.

We are all saddened by the lose of your sweet Emily. I pray to the Lord that he comforts you in the time to come, that he gives you all a light and a little bit of your happiness back. I was not aware that we were kin until my Daddy just told me-- just so you know I have a wonderful Mama up in heaven and have asked her to welcome your child and help keep an eye on her. I to know what it is like to lose someone you cherish so suddenly but there is peace in knowing there is a heaven and that one day we will see them again-- never a goodbye but just an I will see you later!! Emily had a heart of gold. To know her was to love her. I always looked forward to seeing her, she would always turn my day around and put a smile on my face. It was such a delightful blessing to be in worship with your sweet Emily. The joy in her little heart jumped from one side of the balcony to the other as she reflected the love of Jesus.
