I am deeply sorry for your loss. I have many fond memories of Kat and her friendliness to everyone. She and Lamar were Lakemont treasures.

Lamar, Kay and Bartley; I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Kat.
Sadly, I did not find out about the funeral until too late to attend. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this mournful time.
I will never forget the generosity of Lamar and Kat, I specifically remember camping at the water gauge where a bear came into our camp at night and ate all our food. The next day Kat and Lamar were there for a Sunday cookout and made sure we were fed.
Kat was the authoritarian of the pair, she let you know what she was thinking , especially if you did something that did not please her! She was the caring mother who corrected the street kids when we needed it. Being a father I certainly respect her for that.
Helen Keller once said; those we enjoyed and deeply loved can never really be lost, for all we love deeply becomes a part of us.

To the family of Kathleen Alley,
I am so sorry for your loss. She is at peace now no longer in pain and she is with her parents, and the love of her life Lamar Sr. But most of all she is with Jesus and God in Heaven. May God comfort all of you during this difficult time. Remember you will get to see her again when you get to Heaven.
