Annie Lorrayne Shirley Darnell, 86, of Clarkesville, GA, passed away on Saturday, January 16, 2010.

She was born in Tiger, GA and was the daughter of the late Milford and Loma Susan Taylor Shirley.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, James Harold Darnell, and a grandchild, Angie Morris Schaeffer.

Mrs. Darnell is survived by two sons, John K. Darnell of Clarkesville, James Harold Darnell Jr. of Dallas, Texas; a daughter, Barbara Ann Darnell Morris of Plano, Texas; and a brother, Conny Shirley of Clarkesville, GA.

She was a homemaker and was employed as a grocery clerk. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church.

The family will receive friends at Beck Funeral Home on Tuesday evening, January 19, 2010 from 6 to 8 PM. Funeral Services will be held at Bethel Baptist Church in Tiger, GA on Wednesday, January 20, 2010 at 11 AM with Dr. Jim Britt and Rev. Mike Cochran officiating. Burial will follow in Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery.
