Bobby Ray Nichols

Bobby Ray Nichols, 76, of Clayton, Georgia, passed away on June 29, 2019.

Bobby was born of the late Johnny Ray Nichols and Lois Chastain Nichols on February 9, 1943 in Cramerton, NC.  Bobby was a member of the Christian faith and the Mountain City United Methodist Church and also attended the Persimmon Church of God. He was fond of old cars, riding horses, fishing, building and anyone who knew him, knew his passion for talking. Above all the loved his family with all he had.

Bobby was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Betsy Nichols; his daughter, Michelle Nichols Holt (Aaron), of Clayton, Georgia; sister, Judy Riddle, of Hiawassee, Georgia; his grandson, Joshua Holt (Maegan); great-grandchildren, SarahBeth Holt, EmmaLee Holt, Rhyne Allen Holt.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday July 3, 2019, from 1:00 pm until 2:00pm, at the Beck Funeral Home.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday July 3, 2019 at 2:00 pm at the Beck Funeral Home with Rev. Teddy King officiating.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital 501 St Jude Place Memphis, TN  38105-1942.
