David Eugene Taylor

David Eugene “Tiny” Taylor, age 76, of Wiley, Ga., passed away at his residence with his loving family by his side. He was the son of the late Glenn Jameson Taylor and Lucille Cannon Taylor.

He is survived by son, Troy Taylor (Kristin) Tallulah Falls, Ga., two daughters, Tami McCutcheon Mountain City, Ga., Tricia Henslee (Jeff) of Rabun Gap, Ga., one sister, Patricia Kitchens of Macon, Ga.,  grandchildren, Kande Little, Heather McCutcheon, Brittany McClain, Dillon Taylor, Jade Adams, Kinley Taylor, July Taylor, Jeseca Hunnicutt and 14 great grandchildren.

David was a loving father, grandfather, and great grandfather and, he was member of Clayton Church of God. He enjoyed going camping, putting together jigsaw puzzles and gardening.  He never missed any of the grandchildren’s ball games. He owned and operated Langs Grocery in Wiley, and worked at Rabun County Recreations Department and Kelly’s Research for many years. He enjoyed going to the Rabun County Senior Center.

The family will receive friends Thursday April 18, 2019 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at Beck Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of the Beck Funeral Home with Rev. Harvey Conner, Rev. Perry Lunsford officiating. Interment will follow in the D.D. Taylor Cemetery in Wiley, Ga.

The family will be at the home of Tami McCutcheon at 34 Callaway Lane in Mountain City, Ga.
