Lonnie Calvin Queen Obituary

Calvin Lonnie Queen, 83, of Canon, Georgia, formerly of Mountain City, passed away May 8, 2019.

 

He was the son of the late J.D. Queen and late Mary Magdalene Chastain Queen. He began his career in the printing industry at the Clayton Tribune and Cross Printing. Calvin then moved to Atlanta and worked in the printing industry there until his retirement. He loved hunting and fishing and enjoyed being outdoors. In his younger years he enjoyed riding his Harley motorcycle. He was a loving father and grandfather.

 

In addition to his parents, a brother, Bill Queen, preceded him in death.

 

Calvin is survived by one son, Scott Queen of Braselton, Georgia; two daughters Becky Queen of Braselton, Georgia, Sandra Queen of Rabun Gap, Georgia; one brother, Monroe Queen of Clayton, GA; two sister Lorene Sanders of Canon, Georgia, Bonnie Queen Dyson of  Greencastle, Pennsylvania; four grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren also survive.

 

No service is planned at this time.
