Clemmy Clifton McCracken

Clemmy Clifton McCracken, age 59, of Lakemont, Georgia passed away on October 26, 2018.

He was born the son of Jimmy McCracken and Geraleen Hipps Taylor on March 14, 1959. Clem was a Christian and an active member of Joy Baptist Church. He enjoyed the outdoors, spending time hunting and fishing. He served his country by being a member of the National Guard for 17 years. He was a loving husband, father and Papaw.

In addition to his father, one son, Eric Poteete, preceded him in death.

His survivors include his loving wife, Susan McCracken, of the home; his mother, Geraleen Hipps Taylor; three daughters, Georgia McCracken, Fawn Poole (Lee), Swannie McCracken, all of Lakemont; three brothers, John McCracken (Chris), Ben McCracken (Hollis), Anthony McCracken (Tracy); two sisters, Swannie Nichols (Phillip), Linda Amar (Joe); six grandchildren, Tamilee, Jackson, Mindy, Anna Kate, Carter, Davis; several nieces and nephews also survive him.

The family will receive friends at the Beck Funeral Home on Sunday October 28, 2018 from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm.

A funeral service will be held on Monday October 29, 2018 at Joy Baptist Church at 2:00 pm with the Rev. Tony Goss officiating.
