John "Johnny" Cuthbert Bedingfield Sr.

John "Johnny" Cuthbert Bedingfield SR., age 67, of Lakemont, Georgia, passed away on December 13, 2017.

Johnny was born the son of the late Rosch Bedingfield and Edith McCracken Franklin on February 2, 1950 in Clayton, Georgia. Johnny loved the outdoors, and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed racing and going to shooting matches and spending time with his family and his dogs.

He was preceded in death by his father, Rosch Bedingfield; two sisters, Beth Bedingfield and Jeanne Bedingfield Henslee.

His survivors include his wife, Kellie Bedingfield; his mother, Edith McCracken Franklin; two sons, Chad Bedingfield (Heather), of Tiger, Georgia, John Bedingfield Jr. (Jamee), of Lawrenceville, Georgia; one step-son, Cody Wade, of Mount Airy, Georgia; two daughters, Lisa Welborn (Greg), of Clayton, Georgia, Jennifer Ramey (Kent), of Tiger, Georgia; two step-daughters, Megan Chastain (Joe), of Demorest, Georgia, McKenzie Moore, of Mount Airy, Georgia; four brothers, Tommy Bedingfield, of Clayton, Georgia, Robert Bedingfield, of Lakemont, Georgia, Paris Franklin, of Lakemont, Georgia, Marty Franklin, of Clayton, Georgia; two sisters, Jan Bedingfield, of Lakemont, Georgia, Susan Bedingfield Mason, of Clayton, Georgia; eight grandchildren, Landan Bedingfield, Nora Kate Bedingfield, Tagg Bedingfield, Jager Welborn, Tallulah Grace Welborn, Tate Ramey, Zane Bedingfield, Chaz Bedingfield; one step-grandchild, Breelynn Wade.

The family will receive friends on Sunday December 17, 2017 at the Beck Funeral Home from 2:00 pm until 4:00pm.

A memorial service will be held in the chapel of the Beck Funeral Home on Sunday December 17, 2017 at 4:30 pm with Rev. Greg Welborn officiating.
