What a beautiful person Melanie is .
I've lost 3 family members in the last year. I'm proud to call you my cousin and you are an inspiration to all of us as I battle this same disease and pray daily that I keep getting good news from my own oncologist.
Cancer has taken so many of our family, it is a horrible disease.
Your fight shows your inner beauty and incredible strength.
May God surround your beautiful children, husband, siblings and parents and give them strength to endure the loss of my amazing cousin.
I'm glad you had your family surrounding you, I lost my only family, my mom , who was also my best friend November of last year to cancer as well. I'm praying God gives everyone strength to endure this.

I met Melanie on a 2007 Mission trip to South Africa. I was a member of the PA delegation. Melanie and I were roommates on those very cold nights and co-workers with the rest of the group building a church. What a blessing it was for God to have brought her friendship into my life. Melanie was an inspirational woman full of life, a wonderful smile and infectious laugh. She also had a love for the Lord. There are people with whom you cross paths that change your life. Mel was one of those people to me, a true blessing.
