Raymond Lee Yontz

Raymond Lee Yontz, age 72, of Clayton, Georgia, passed away on August 27, 2018.

Raymond was born the son of the late Raymond Yontz and Janice Johnson Yontz on March 15, 1946 in Texas.

Raymond was a senior data computer programmer for TSYS, as well as serving his county in the United States Marine Corps for 28 years. He was president of the Metro Atlanta Winnies for 2 years and enjoyed serving as a troop leader in the Boy Scouts. Raymond enjoyed camping and spending time in the mountains. He was an avid movie buff, always enjoying John Wayne westerns and Star Trek. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather, who will be missed.

His parents preceded him in death.

His survivors include his loving wife, Kristie Pollock-Yontz; his daughter, Dorie J. Yontz (Erich Levinson), of Minneapolis, MN; his son, R. Reese Yontz (Betheny), of Michie, TN; his son, Matthew L. Yontz (Jennifer), of Hattiesburg, MS; his bonus daughter, Kristin Gregory (Brandon), of Cullowhee, NC; his stepdaughter Barbara Clayton, of Augusta, GA; one stepson, Thomas Pollock, of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; one brother, Jerry Yontz; five grandchildren, Mitchell Yontz, Katie Beth Yontz, Alexander Levinson, Levi Yontz, Alyssa Gregory; two step-grandchildren, Van Clayton, Quinton Clayton; two step-great-grandchildren also survive him.

The family will hold a private service.
