Stacy Dooley Middleton

Stacy Dooley Boozer Middleton, 54, of Clayton GA passed away on Saturday Aug. 4th 2018 at her home. 

She was born in Lexington, SC to Jason & Elizabeth Dooley.  She graduated from Lexington High School and Midlands Technical College.  She would marry Barry Boozer of Lexington, SC, with whom she had 3 sons.  After his passing, she married James (Jim) Middleton of Blakely, GA, who had 1 son, and with whom she had 3 more sons.

She was preceded in death by her husbands Barry Boozer and James (Jim) Middleton, father Jason Dooley, Brother Todd Dooley, and Son Timothy Middleton.

She is survived by her mother Elizabeth (AJ) Dooley, Siblings Gwen (Phil) Lenzen and Jay (Terri) Dooley, children Patrick (Katlyn) Middleton, Jason (Amy) Middleton, Joseph (Jackie) Middleton, Jim (Carol) Middleton Jr, Wil Middleton, and Adam Middleton, grandchildren Bridgette, Ian, Mary Janice, Rachel, Brooklyn and Walter.

She was the most loving and giving wife, mother, sister and friend to everyone who knew her; she never hesitated in giving everything she had of herself to everyone she met.  She devoted her life to caring for her children and others as a mother, parapro, and caregiver.  She was an active member of Clayton First UMC and the community.  Most importantly, she dedicated her life to her children.  She and her family were no strangers to tragedy and she gave everything she had to teaching her boys from a young age how to endure, be strong, and live and love with a purpose; as well as to believe and trust in God and to care for each other and the importance of family.

Services will be held on Saturday Aug 11th at Clayton First United Methodist Family Life Building (205 Ministry Mountain Dr. Clayton, GA 30525) at 11am.  The family will receive guests prior to the service at 10:00am.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Clayton First United Methodist Church, or to Faith Inc of Rabun Co. GA (PO Box 1964 Clayton, GA 30525).

Her legacy will live on.
