Virginia Seleskey Bryan Sosby

Virginia Seleskey Bryan Sosby, age 93, of Lakemont, Georgia went to be with her heavenly father on March 11, 2019. Her family was at her side as she made her eternal journey.

Virginia was born in Atlanta, GA the daughter of the late William R. Seleskey and Frances Carroll Seleskey. Virginia had lived in Rabun County for 36 years and enjoyed walking in the outdoors. She had a strong Christian faith and character devoted to God and Jesus Christ and her family. Virginia excelled in scripture, she was an avid reader and had a library filled with scripture and nature books. She had a great mind for securities trading and enjoyed it very much. She had a tender place in her heart for animals. She attended Wiley Presbyterian Church for many years and taught Sunday school at Clayton Baptist Church where she was a member.

In addition to her parents Virginia was preceded in death by her first husband Morris A. Bryan Sr., second husband, David Sosby, one son, Morris Bryan Jr., and a great grandchild, Quinn Conley.

She is survived by two sons, Randy Bryan (Ginny) of Rabun Gap, GA., Hal Bryan (Mary) of Palm Beach, FL.; two daughters Dale Ryals of Dunwoody, GA., Susan C. Bryan of Lakemont, GA.; two sisters, Patricia Thompson of Palmetto, GA., Shawnee Northcutt of College Park, GA.; 11 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren and 3 great great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM until 4:00 PM at Clayton Baptist Church  87 S. Church Street Clayton, GA 30525 with a celebration of life service to be held at 4:00 PM Friday, March 15, 2019 at Clayton Baptist with Rev. Joey Thompson and Rev. Cliff Lewis officiating.
