Anita Elaine Burks, age 59 of Tiger, Ga. passed away April 5, 2017. She was the daughter of the late Jesse Arnold Burks and Miriam Burks Wysock.

She attended St. Helena Catholic Church and had been a resident of the Clayton area for the past eight years after moving from Florida.

Anita is survived by one brother and sister in law, David and Susan Burks Evans, Ga. and her two nieces Kristin Burks Smith of Savannah, Ga., and Stephanie Diane Burks of Carolina Beach N.C. She is also survived by her stepfather Paul Wysock.

The family will have a Celebration of Life Service at 1:00 pm on Friday, April 7, 2017 at St Helena Catholic Church with Father Pedro Poloche, and Don Barber officiating. Interment service will be held on Saturday April 8 at 3:00 pm at Arlington Memorial Park in Sandy Springs, Georgia with Tim Miller officiating.
