Bonnie Lou Waggoner Speed, age 79, of Clarkesville, Georgia passed away on August 31, 2023.

Bonnie was born on May 2, 1944 in Detroit, Michigan, to the late Vernon Waggoner and late Arlene Moore Waggoner Gillespie.

Bonnie loved her church, Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, and served as a Sunday School teacher for many years as well as church secretary. She was a loving mother, wife and grandmother. Bonnie enjoyed reading and doing her crossword puzzles. Everyone in her life loved Bonnie. People were drawn to her and believed she was a great person.

In addition to her parents, Bonnie was preceded in death by her daughter, Kimberly Speed, and brother, Chris Waggoner.

She is survived by loving husband, Calvin Speed, children, Dihana White, Billy (Tammy) Graves, Brian Graves, siblings, Janet Rodgers, Christine (Kenneth) Kucher, Laverne (Chryel) Waggoner, and Steve (Kathey) Davis, grandchildren, Linda, Lindsy, Luke, Taryn, Dillion, Matthew, Tristian, Ashney, Breein, Joran, Ben, Shannon, Jeremy and Jason, and many beloved great grandchildren.

A visitation will be held 1:00pm-2:00pm Monday, September 4, 2023 at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church with the service following.
