Major Donald L. Caroway, USMC Retired went home to be with the Lord August 3, 2024.

Donald was born April 21, 1942 in Tampa, Florida to the late Louis "Peewee" Caroway and late Mary Lou Virginia Council Caroway. He went on to spend 24 years service in the US Marine Corps.

Donald was a devoted member of Clayton Baptist Church. He loved his family and his church family. Donald enjoyed old cars, Harley Davidson, guns, and Maggie, his beloved Australian Sheppard.

In addition to his parents, Donald is preceded in death by his brother, Ronald; and one great-grandchild.

Donald is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Carol Caroway; children, Kevin, Jim, Laura, Tammy, and Deborah; siblings, Frank, Donna, and Judy; as well as 13 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
