Dorothy Monteen Wall Stockton, age 92, of Clayton, Georgia passed away on September 5, 2023.

Dorothy was born on July 1, 1931, in Lakemont, Georgia to the late Claude Wall and the late Savannah Page Wall. Dorothy was a homemaker who had many friends, traveled often, and was famous at the Tallulah Falls Oprey for her potato salad. She also won many awards at festivals of which Walt Disney did a portrait of her dancing.

Dorothy was an avid dancer and traveled to festivals with her late husband. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother and great-great-great-grandmother who loved working in the flower beds in her yard.

In addition to her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by husband, Larry Stockton, siblings, Mr. Harold Wall, Mr. Calvin Wall, Mr. Eugene Wall, Mr. Billy Wall, Mr. Reed Wall, Mrs. Myrtice Roach, Mrs. Ruby Nell Parker, Mrs. Patsy McCrackin.

She is survived by a sister, Mrs. Maxine Wall Southards, children, Llyod R Mckay, Claudette and Aubrey Woods, Cathie Eidson, Lucille Schmalix (Todd Stiles); step-children Roger Stockton, Randy Stockton, and Alicia Morris; sister-in-law, Brenda (Sam) Bowers, Vera Wall; brother-in-law, William McCrackin; grandchildren Michelle (Doug) Hopkins, Alyssa Mullins, Leslie McDonald, Ryan (Georgia) Williamson, Shawn (Rebecca) Mckay, Lindsay Schmalix; seven great-great-grandchildren, and one great- great-great-grandchild; and a number of nieces and nephews also survive.

Visitation in memory of Dorothy is to be held 6:00pm until 8:00pm, Thursday, September 7, 2023 at Beck Funeral Home. A memorial service will take place at 11:00am, Friday, September 8, 2023 in the Beck Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Pleasant Hill Church with Madison McCracken officiating.
