Earl Carlton Simmons, Jr., age 84, of Tiger, GA, passed away on May 23, 2018.

Earl was born the son of the late Earl Carlton Simmons, Sr. and Ruby Evelyn Welborn Simmons on September 15, 1933 in Clayton, GA. Earl was a life long resident of Clayton, and worked for 42 years at Jowers Appliance Store. Earl was an avid fisherman, a master gardener, herbalist and was always quick to tell a joke.

In addition to his parents, his brother, Hoke Simmons, preceded him in death.

His survivors include his wife, "Cindy" Margaret Ann Blalock Simmons; his daughter, Jane Tomlin (Stephen), his nephew, Todd Simmons; as well as several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will take place on September 15, 2018 at 5:00 pm at a location to be announced at a later date.
