Elisabeth Grigoleit Houck, age 82 of Suwanee, Georgia passed away with her loving husband by her side on October 12, 2025.

Elisabeth was born March 19, 1943 in Heydekrug, East Prussia to the late Heinrich and Anna Grigoleit. She became a citizen of the United States in 1976.

Elisabeth was a self-employed beautician, a credit manager for Belk, and was involved with the Rabun County Flea Market in Clayton, Georgia for many years. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, participating in charity events and fostering a sense of community. Elisabeth found great joy in spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and was the best life partner one could possibly have.

In addition to her parents, Elisabeth is preceded in death by her siblings, Auther Lokies and Edith Kasa.

Elisabeth is survived by her husband, Ronald Houck; children, Franklin Houck (Hester) and Russel Houck (Ansley); and grandchildren, Brianna Houck and Haley Houck.

There will be a receiving of family and friends on Tuesday, October 14, 2025 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at Beck Funeral Home. A funeral ceremony will be held Wednesday, October 15, 2025 at 2:00pm in the Beck Funeral Home Chapel with interment following at Antioch Cemetery in Clayton, Georgia.
