Ethel W. Cantrell, 87, of Tiger, passed away March 24th  2018 . Born October 18th, 1930 to Bowden and Marie Coffee Welborn in the Germany Mountain Community of Rabun County, she was one of six children. A devoted wife to her husband of more than forty years, Ethel was a homemaker all her adult life and loving aunt to her numerous nieces and nephews.

At a younger age, Ethel was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting, fishing and camping with her family. She loved gardening. She was of Pentecostal faith, attending Clayton Church of God for many years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas R. Cantrell, her parents and four of her siblings. She is survived by a sister, Ruth Smith of Clarkesville, GA and a large extended family.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until 12:00 Noon Monday March 26, 2018 at Beck Funeral Home with a funeral service to follow at 12:00 in the Chapel of Beck Funeral Home with Rev. Raburne Wilson and Rev. Ryan Wilson officiating. The burial will follow in Liberty Cemetery.
