Frankie Mae Welch, age, 84 of Tiger, Ga. passed away April 1, 2017. She was born in Rabun County October 23, 1932 the daughter of the late Bill and Irene McCloud Welch. She was also preceded in death by six brothers Red Grover Welch, F.D. Welch, J.B. Welch, Marie Wood, Kenneth Welch, and Wayne Welch.

She is survived by her companion Elize "Ray" Rapier. Also suriving is one brother Dover "Beady" Nathan Welch, and three sisters Elease Eller, Cynthia Welch,  and Sarah Harrison. Many nieces and nephews also survive.

Frankie was a member of Battle Branch Baptist Church. She retired from General Motors in Pontiac, Michigan. She enjoyed reading and crocheting but most of all she enjoyed being with her family.

The family will receive friends on April 3, 2017 at Beck Funeral Home from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. Funeral service will follow at 3:00 p.m. at the Beck Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Madison McCrackin officiating. Interment will follow in the Welch Family Cemetery.
