Fredda Anne (May) Coleman, age 90 passed away on September 25, 2026. Fredda was born December 11, 1935 in Clayton, Georgia to the late Fred A. May and the late Kathleen (Morrison) May.

Fredda was a faithful member of Mt. Vernon Baptist Church in Sandy Springs. She found great joy in gardening and took pride in tending her plants. She also enjoyed canning, sewing, and playing bridge, finding happiness in time spent with others. Fredda especially cherished her family and treasured every opportunity to be together.

In addition to her parents, Fredda is preceded in death by her husband, John Thomas Coleman; grandchild, Taylor; and sisters, Carole Eastland, Mary Jo York, and Minnie Ryles.

Fredda is survived by her children, Elaine Haltiwanger (William), John C. Coleman (Karen), and Laura Stanhope; grandchildren, Lisa, Kim, Mindy, Rachel, Callie, and Sydney; great-grandchildren, Drew, Sherwood, Klaytin, Addilyn, Hank, June, and Maggie; great-great grandson, Max; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at Beck Funeral Home on Thursday, October 1, 2026 from 1:00pm until 2:00pm. A funeral service will take place at 2:00pm in the Beck Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Roane Cemetery.
