Gary Marvin English passed away on November 25, 2025.

Gary was born March 16, 1959 in Franklin, North Carolina to the late Coyt English and late Imogene Hamilton English. He grew up in Rabun County as a part of the Persimmon Community where he lived for most of his life. In 1977, Gary graduated from Rabun County High School after which he went on to have a career in construction.

Gary found peace in the outdoors. He often liked to hunt and fish.

Gary is survived by his wife, Sandra English; children, Gary English and Nathan English; and brother, Mike English.
