Gladys Velma Thomas Marsengill passed away on Saturday July 8th,2023.  She was preceded in death by her loving husband B.C. Marsengill, parents Henry and Velma Thomas, two sons Frank Marsengill, Michael Marsengill, four brothers Henry Louis Thomas Jr,Cary Welborn Thomas, Quintin Roosevelt Thomas, Charles L Thomas; and five sisters Violet Thomas Dodd, Ida Thomas Smith, Blanch Thomas Dickerson, Nellie Thomas King,  and Winnie Thomas Scroggs.

She is survived by two sons Ronald Marsengill ( Betty) of Mt. Airy, GA; Tim Marsengill of Mt. Airy, GA; one brother William Harold Thomas of Tallulah Falls, Ga; one sister Sarah Thomas Martino of Myrtle  Beach, SC. She is also survived by five grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.

Gladys was a homemaker. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother. Her life was devoted to raising her four boys and raising children. Her family meant everything to her.

The family will receive friends at Beck Funeral Home on Friday July14, 2023 from 1:00 pm until 2:00pm. A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm Friday July 14, 2023 in the Beck Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jim Carver officiating.
