Hazel Louise Galloway Carnes, age, 87 of Tiger, Ga., passed away April 13, 2019 at the Oaks at Scenic View with her loving family by her side. She was preceded in death by her husband Alvin Carnes and granddaughter Sarah Carnes. She was born April 4, 1932 the daughter of the late Allen A. and Ozella Ivester Galloway Vanhook.

She is survived by two sons Mitchell Carnes of Tiger Ga., and Ronnie Carnes(Debbie) of Tuckasegee, NC., two daughters Kathy Ramey of Clayton, Ga., and Pam Morris of Cumming, Ga., one sister Roesetta Densmore of Batesville,Ga., nine grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren, one great great grandchild and one great great grandchild due in August.

Hazel was a member of Tiger Baptist Church for over 60 years. She was a graduate of Tallulah Falls School Class of 1952. She was an excellent seamstress and loved making quilts. She also enjoyed working in her garden and canning the vegetables that she grew and she also enjoyed painting.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday April 16, 2019 at Beck Funeral Home from 12:00pm until 2:00 pm. Funeral Services will follow at 2:00pm at the Beck Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tim Hunnicutt, Rev. Austin Ivester, and Rev. Kelsie Chiara officiating the service. Interment will follow in the Carnes Family Cemetery.

The family will be at the home of Kent and Jennifer Ramey 308 Woodall Rd Tiger, Ga.
