Helen May Howard, age 94, of Clayton, Georgia, passed away on March 12, 2018.

She was born on May 19, 1923 to Lawrence Burrell and Connie Dixon Burrell in Rabun County.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ferron Howard, and her sister, Ruth Burrell Thompson.

Her survivors include her four children, John Howard (Verna), of Persimmon, Judy Lunsford, Allen Howard (Margaret), of Clayton, Trudy Mincemoyer (Billy); eleven grandchildren, twenty four great-grandchildren, and two great great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at Beck Funeral Home on Wednesday March 14, 2018 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday March 15, 2018 at 11:00 am at the Beck Funeral Home in Clayton, Georgia.

Burial will follow in the Howard Family Cemetery.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers donations be made in memory of Helen to the Sid Weber Memorial Cancer Fund P.O. Box 485  Rabun Gap, GA 30568.
