James Allen Whitmire "BO", age 45, passed away early the morning of January 14th 2018 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center after a long illness.

He was the son of David Whitmire and the late Darlinda Henslee Whitmire and stepmother, Judith Hurt-Whitmire.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Darlinda, and his brother, Lee Whitmire.

He is survived by his father, of Clayton David and step-mother, Judith, step father Ronald Whitmire; step-brothers, Gary Greer (Rosalyn), of Clayton, GA, Kevin Greer (Tammy) of Pickens, SC, Shaun Greer (Renee) of Rabun Gap, GA, and Leon Cantrell of Clarkesville, GA, step-sister Rachelle Ellenburg (Brian), many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Bo had special fury companions, Gus, Tia, Polly and Boogie.

Bo loved his music, art creations, gardening, cooking, pets, and to play pool; but especially he loved being with his family and friends.

A visitation will be held on Sunday January 21, 2018 at the Beck Funeral Home in Clayton, GA from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm.

A graveside interment will follow at the Pickett Cemetery with Rev. Thomas Burrell officiating.
