Katheryn Suttles Granberg, age 80, was ushered into the arms of her savior Jesus on Tuesday morning, December 17th, 2019.
The daughter of the late Mitchell Thomas Suttles and Annie Odessa Phillips, Katheryn is survived by brother Robert Suttles, sister Barbara Patterson (Charles), daughter Georgia Fournier, and son Michael Wilkes (Ruth). She was a recognized personality and zealous contributor in the Rabun community. She lived all over the U.S. but especially loved the Georgia mountains, making her various homes in Tiger, Clayton, and Dillard.
Starting with a High School education and a love of learning, she was able to contribute much to the world around her. She was a Barbeque Judge, Founder of the Veterans Convoy on Armed Forces Day, Hospice volunteer, Hypnotherapist, Ordained Minister, Organizer for the Dillard Bluegrass & Barbeque Festival, Rabun County Commissioner, Rabun Town Crier Founder, Radio Advertising Salesperson, Radio Personality on "Sunday Mornings with Katheryn" at SKY104, Registered Clown – "Peaches", and Stephen Minister, as well as a beloved wife, mother, grandmother of Emma Davis, Molly Jenkins, Marisa Fournier, Daniel Wilkes, and Serena Fournier, and great-grandmother of four.
We will celebrate her life on Friday, December 27th at 4:00 P.M. at her church home of Mountain City United Methodist Church, 55 N Johnson Ave, Clayton, GA 30525.
