Kathy Lynn Darnell Henry, 57, passed away on April 5, 2023.  Kathy was born in Clayton, Georgia on May 19, 1965 to George Darnell and the late Peggy Ann Hollifield.

In addition to her father she is survived by her stepmother Maxine Darnell, a son, George Clancey Henry, a daughter, Kelsey Annell Henry, two grandchildren, Fisher Burton Henry and Leighton Renee Hughes, her companion Doyle Henslee, two stepsisters, Sherrie Vinson Hayman and Jan Vinson Lunsford and one aunt, Donna Seddon.

Kathy enjoyed people. She loved spending her time outdoors tending a garden and working in her yard. She took joy in camping at the river and spending time with her loved ones. Her favorite companions could be found in those with four legs. Kathy took delight in helping those around her and making them smile and laugh.

The family will receive friends on Saturday April 8, 2023 from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Beck Funeral Home with a memorial service at 2:00 PM at Beck Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Chris Taylor officiating. Memorial donations may be made to Sid Weber Memorial Cancer Fund P.O. Box 485, Rabun Gap, GA 30568.
