Keith Shafner passed away peacefully on September 26, 2026, with his loving family by his side. He was the son of the late Darrell Shafner and the late Jacqueline Shafner. Keith was of the Catholic faith and attended St. Helena Catholic Church.

Keith enjoyed his work with Publix and took pride in the time he spent there. He was a talented and artistic individual who enjoyed writing poetry and expressing himself through his creativity. Keith also had a love for music of all kinds and enjoyed watching classic television shows, especially The Andy Griffith Show. He will be remembered for his unique personality, creativity, and the love he shared with his family.

Keith is survived by his sister, Janine McCord and her husband, Raymond; his brothers, Phil Shafner and his wife, Cindy, and Jeff Shafner and his wife, Lorna; his stepmother, Victoria Shafner; and his nephews, Zachary Shafner and Khodie Shafner.
