Kenneth Peter Clarke, age 81, passed away on January 26, 2026.

Kenenth was born January 25, 1945 in New York, New York to the late Leo Francis Clarke and late Elizabeth Kelly Clarke. He served in the Air Force during Vietnam. After leaving the military, he was an entrepreneur of various businesses, including Entenmann's for which he also worked as a truck driver.

Kenneth was very involved in his community, serving in many different groups. He was a member if the Grant Reeves VFW #7720 where he was a Commander, Senior Vice Commander, and Trustee. He was also a member of the American Legion, Elks Lodge in Toccoa, Yaarab Shriners, Masonic Lodge #141 in Mt. Airy, and Northeast Georgia Mountains Disabled American Veterans Chapter 15.

In addition to his parents, Kenneth is preceded in death by his first wife, Cheryl Clarke; and his second wife, Mary McClure Clarke.

Kenneth is survived by his children, Kenneth Christopher Clarke (Tracey), Richard Paul Clarke, Patrick Shawn Clarke (Jill), Wade Thomas Proudfoot (Shawn), and Devin Michael Clarke (Laura); siblings, Leo Clarke and Elizabeth Nancy Hue; grandchildren, Trista Wofford, Riley Clarke, Natalie Clarke, Kenneth Clarke, Connor Clarke, Christopher Clarke, Anna Clarke, Zachary Clarke, Ethan Clarke, Susan Bier, Lauren Bier, Jacob Clarke, Samantha Clarke, Devin Michael Clarke, Ashley Singer, Nicole Kraft, and Alex Cecil; and several great-grandchildren.

There will be a visitation at Beck Funeral Home on Friday, January 30, 2026 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm. A funeral service will take place at Beck Funeral Home on Saturday, January 31, 2026 at 12:00pm. The family will hold a private graveside service at a later date.
