Linda Newell, age 74 of Tiger, Georgia passed away on April 19, 2022.

Linda was born the daughter of the late Willie Frank Cato on August 22, 1947 in Augusta, Georgia. Linda worked in the antique business for ten years and loved to make people happy. She enjoyed collecting dolls and her nieces and nephews were her life.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her brother, Ronnie Cato.

Her survivors include her loving husband, David Newell, of the home; her son, Scott Newell; her sister, Evelyn Jackson; nephews; Kenny Jackson, Keith Jackson, Nick Taylor, Ashton Taylor, Dawson Fowle, Ian Fowle, Bryant Jackson, Zander Jackson, Brentlee Jackson, Evan Teaseley, Simon Young; nieces, Kathy Fowle, Karmen Taylor, Dawn Teaseley, Kali Jackson, Hanah Teaseley, Haley Smith, Christy Smith, Lexie Fowle, Christina Mendez, Lillie Major, Caitlyn Taylor; great nephews Brent Young and Austin Young, and a great niece Kyra Young.

A funeral service will be held on Friday April 22, 2022 at 1:00 pm in the Chapel of the Beck Funeral Home in Clayton, Georgia.
