Margaret "Jeri" Meggett McCall, age 80, of Lakemont, Georgia passed away on October 13, 2022.

Jeri as all knew her was born on January 27, 1942 in Stuart, Florida to the late James Whitmarsh Meggett and the late Margaret Hazel Clements. She was the loving wife to the late William "Bill" Henry McCall who she married in 1973. She was an avid reader, who enjoyed cooking and who loved animals.  She was a faithful Christian and a member of the Wiley Presbyterian Church. She loved her family and her friends dearly. She was always a service oriented person, and did her best to help others in any way she could. In her professional life she worked for many years at the First National Bank, and also for Home Depot and the Clayton Tribune.

Her husband and parents preceded her in death.

Her survivors include her son, Martin McCall; her daughter, Wendy Gregory; her step daughter, Shannon Geis; her brother, John Meggett; seven grandchildren also survive her.

A private graveside service will be held with a public celebration of life to be announced at a later date.

Her remains will be interred in the Joy Baptist Cemetery, in Lakemont, Georgia.
