Martha Joann (Robison) Nutt of Clayton, Georgia passed away on September 23, 2026. She was born June 28, 1936 in Atlanta, Georgia.

Martha was a skilled gemologist who worked with many pawn shops throughout the Atlanta area, where she was respected for her knowledge and expertise. She was a loving, devoted mother to her three sons, who were the pride and joy of her life. Martha was the last surviving of three siblings and held a deep love for her family.

Martha is preceded in death by her mother and father; husband, Jimme James Nutt; son, Randall Dwayne Shelton; and siblings, Alvin Robinson and Louise Bafford.

Martha is survived by her sons, William Michael Shelton and David Russell “Rusty” Shelton; and grandchild, Michelle Jordan.

A Graveside service will take place at Oakland Cemetery in Atlanta, Georgia on Thursday, October 8, 2026 at 11:00am.
