Michael Holcomb passed away peacefully at his home on December 31, 2024 surrounded by his loving family.

Michael Was born May 11, 1949 to Herbert and Florence Wilson Holcomb.

He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Nancy; one son, Jeff; three grandchildren, Alexis, Gavin, and Landon; two great-grandchildren, Ryker and Kash; one brother, Ellis (Kathy); and one sister, Barbara Wilson (Bruce). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. He is survived by one aunt and uncle, Glenda and Ed Hefner.

Michael retired from the Rabun County Road Department where he operated a bush hog. He took great pride in keeping the county roads groomed and maintained.

A special thank you to Shannon Robinson, Fresenius Dialysis Center, in Toccoa, Dr. Ali and his staff, Amedisys Hospice and their staff (Nurse Rebecca) for the care they gave to Michael.

Visitation will be at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church at 3:00pm Thursday, January 2, 2025 with a memorial service to follow at 4:00pm

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, 7245 Warwoman Rd., Clayton, GA 30525 or to Gideons, P.O. Box 97251, Washington, DC 20090 to spread the word of God's love.
