Patricia Emerson Allgary, 81 of Lakemont, Georgia passed away on July 24, 2026, at her home surrounded by her loving family.
A graveside service will be held at 12:30 PM Monday, July 27, 2026, at Taylors Chapel Cemetery. Jamie Allgary will be officiating the graveside service.
Pat was born in Jacksonville, Florida on May 18th, 1945, to the late James Morris Emerson and Mary Bridget Emerson. She is a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses. Patricia was married to Edward Allen Allgary on November 16, 1962; they were married 55 years.
Pat worked for JM Family in Jacksonville for 15 years before moving to Lakemont Georgia where she spent the next 20 years taking care of residents at Traces of Tiger and the kids at Rabun County Primary school. She enjoyed quilting, crafting, and spending time with her family. Pat’s family was her priority; she was a dedicated mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was also a mother figure for many nieces and nephews, always there to offer a helping hand or advice from her heart.
Patricia is survived by her daughter, Rhonda Williamson (Donny), daughter Cindy Patterson (Don), daughter Lisa Nix (Travis), daughter April Phillips (Rance), and son, Edward Allgary Jr. Also surviving are six grandchildren: Lauren Williamson, Hunter Williamson, Beverly Nix, Katie Keener (Jeremy), Lleyton Phillips, Gabby Allgary and one great grandchild, Paisley Emerson Keener.
Patricia is survived by several nieces, nephews and friends. Patricia is preceded in death by her husband Edward Allen Allgary, parents James Morris Emerson and Mary Bridget Emerson, two siblings; Maryhelen Whichard of Jacksonville Florida, and brother Jimmy Joe Emerson of Lynn Haven Florida.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to Paws for Life, Tiger Georgia.
