Paul Hubert Trusty, age 81, of Clayton, GA passed away February 20, 2023.

Paul was born the son of the late William Jackson Trusty and the late Mary Etta Southards Trusty on September 25, 1941. He served in the Navy. Paul was a loving father, grandfather and great grandfather. In his professional life he was an auto repair mechanic. He enjoyed stock car racing and working on them. He especially enjoyed watching his sons drive the stock cars they worked on.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his loving wife of 61 years, Wilma Cannon Trusty; one son, Jack Trusty; 2 half sisters, Dorothy Buttermore , Frankie Virginia Shoup and a half brother, Clyde Maples.

His survivors include his three sons, Tim Trusty (Pam), Richard Trusty (Cori), Dale Trusty; two daughters, Dedra Vinson (Jeff), Jill Schenden; a brother, Glenn Trusty (Donna); thirteen grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and had many nieces and nephews also survive him.

A visitation will be held on Sunday February 26, 2023 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at the Head of Tennessee Baptist Church in Dillard, Georgia.

A memorial service will be held following the service on Sunday, February 26, 2023 at the Head of Tennessee Baptist Church in Dillard, Georgia at 3:00 pm with Rev. Gabe Southards and Rev. Danny Cannon officiating.
