No matter where she was, she was often the life of the party, filling every room with laughter.
Peggy Jean (Weaver) Emory, age 68 passed away on July 13, 2026. She was born October 2, 1957 to the late Robert Young Weaver and the late Willie Mae (McDonald) Weaver.
Peggy will be remembered for the joy and kindness she brought to everyone around her. She deeply loved her family and adored her dogs, especially Mia, who were always a special part of her life. She found happiness in life's simple pleasures, from watching Deal or No Deal later in life to playing countless games of cards, especially rummy, with family and friends. Peggy loved to travel, particularly on cruises, where she enjoyed dancing, soaking in the beauty of the Caribbean, and making lasting memories. No matter where she was, she was often the life of the party, filling every room with laughter. Peggy had a generous heart, always putting others before herself and offering love, support, and encouragement to those around her.
In addition to her parents, Peggy is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Jerry Emory; siblings, Richard Weaver, Robert Weaver and Sandra Elaine Weaver.
Peggy is survived by her son, Andy Emory (Joy); siblings, Mike Weaver, Scott Weaver, Debra Kay Gragg and Ginger Mae Holbrooks; and grandchildren, Abigail Emory, Asa Emory and Aiden Emory.
