Raymond A Brooker, passed away on November 5, 2022 at the age of 86.

He was born on March 23, 1936  and was a graduate of the Plant High School in Tampa, Florida in 1956.  He was married to Claudia Audrey Smith Brooker on June 9, 1957. His son David Michael Brooker was born on July 9, 1958 and preceded Raymond in death in 2016.  Ray was an active and faithful attendee at Rabun Gap Presbyterian Church for many years. Ray also had a long and successful career in construction in Florida, and after a long battle with dementia Ray graduated to heaven earlier this week at his assisted living memory care home in Franklin, North Carolina. Ray was a resident of Sky Valley after his retirement from Tampa, Florida.

His survivors include his daughters, Sharon Kaye Brooker and Carolyn Rae Brooker; his grandchildren, Blake Allen Burelson and Stephannie Brooke Queirolo; his great-granddaughter, Lexi.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the Shriner's Children's Hospital 2900 Rocky Point Drive, Tampa, FL 33607.
