Richard Eugene Lunsford of Clayton passed away on December 5, 2024. Richard was born on August 24, 1964 in Clayton, Georgia.

Richard was a devoted member of Bethel Baptist Church where he sang and played guitar. He loved animals and fishing. He enjoyed bowling and traveled around the country to play in bowling tournaments.

Richard is preceded in death by his foster dad, R.E. Phillips.

Richard is survived by his siblings, Tim and Mary; foster mom, Jean Phillips; and foster siblings, David Phillips and Rance Phillips.

A graveside service will be held to honor the memory of Richard at 2:00pm on Sunday, December 8, 2024 at Persimmon Baptist Cemetery in Clayton, Georgia.
