Ricky DeWayne Barnett of Clayton, GA went to be with the Lord on Aug, 20,2024.

Ricky was born April 21, 1958 to Willie Dean Barnett and Sarah Edna Farr Barnett.

He was a master carpenter and painter. For a time, he lived in Florida and worked as a carpenter and chef. Then he found his way back to Clayton and worked on many projects around Rabun County.

Ricky loved his music and played the guitar from a young age, sometimes playing in church with our dad. He had a great sense of humor and loved to make people laugh. He loved to fish and would camp on Yonah for weeks at a time.

Ricky is survived by his sisters, Teresa Posey of Pendleton, SC, Aleta Winchester (Joel) of Mountain City,GA; brothers, Randy Barnett (Kay) of Clayton and Danny Barnett (Merry)of Tiger, GA, along with many nieces, nephews and cousins, whom he loved.

A celebration of life will take place at a later date.
