Ricky Lee Fountain, of Clayton, Georgia, passed away on October 6, 2021.

Ricky was born the son of the late Buford Lee Fountain and Mrs. Pauline Norton Fountain. In his professional life he worked as a textile manufacturer. He was a Christian and a member of the Methodist faith. He graduated Rabun County High School in 1977 and attended North Georgia Technical College to study welding. He spent time working at Burlington Industries and Hanes Manufacturing. He loved farming, and was a kind and devoted son, who always took special care of his mother and father.

In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his grandparents, Thomas and Vassie Garland Fountain, Grover Norton and Margie Page Bleckley.

His survivors include his mother, Pauline Norton Fountain, of Clayton, Georgia; his special friend, Marilyn Anders Webb; a number of aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.

A service will be held at a later date.

The family asks in lieu of flowers, that donations be made in Ricky's memory to the Sid Weber Memorial Cancer Fund P.O. Box 485 Rabun Gap, GA 30568.
