Stanley Paul Smith passed away on October 27, 2022. He is proceed in death by his son Stuart Paul Smith, parents Samuel Paul Smith and Nannie Wylene Forester and one niece April Rouse Poole.

He is Survived by his loving wife Mary "Binky" Smith of Long Creek, one brother in law Randy Farmer (Frances) of Fuquay- Varina NC; one sister Natosha Smith Dillashaw (Dwight) of Alto GA; one grandchild Sean Smith of Marettia GA; Four nieces Sarah Luster of Lakemont; Erin Gaglio of Clayton; Sonya Rouse of Franklin NC; Carla Langston of Fuquay-Varina NC; two nephews Bob Rouse of Victorville CA; Ned Farmer of Fuquay-Varina NC.

Stanley was a deacon at Long Creek Baptist Church. Stanley loved the outdoors, he loved farming riding his tractor and landscaping. He was a butcher and worked for Winn-Dixie and Blalocks Meats for many years. He married the love of his life in 1969. He lived in Clayton and moved to Long Creek in 2000. He loved his dog Molly.

The family will receive friends from 2pm till 3pm on Sunday October 30, 2022 at Long Creek Baptist Church. The funeral will be at 3pm on Sunday October 30, 20222 at Long Creek Baptist Church immediately following the visitation with Rev. Greg Marcus officiating. Burial will follow in Long Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
