Tommy Nathan Williams, of Lawrenceville, Georgia, passed away on December 12, 2018, at the age of 74.
Tommy was born the son of the late Jefferson Williams and Jane Minish Williams. Tommy was a veteran, and served in the Navy during the Vietnam War. Tommy obtained a bachelor's degree in applied science and technology and also worked as an engineer for General Motors. He worked hard throughout his entire professional career in order to support his family, and be able to enjoy his retirement. He enjoyed travel and visiting many places, including his wife's home country of Colombia. He was a man of strong character, always honest, sincere and generous. Tommy always remained fiercely patriotic to his country. In his pastime, Tommy enjoyed singing karaoke, talking with his friends and family, and watching birds in the backyard with his beloved wife.
In addition to his parents, one granddaughter, Kari Thompson, preceded him in death.
He is survived by his loving wife, Bianca Rodriguez Williams; his sons, Mike and Tom Williams; his step-son, Miguel Roura; his daughters, Pam Williams, Theresa Williams Thompson, step-daughter, Iris Gorduk; one brother, Claude Williams; one sister, Sandra Dewey; seven grandchildren, Michael Williams Jr., Anthony Williams, Matthew Williams, Danny Thompson, Brian Thompson, David Thompson, Nicholas Tebidor; three step-grandchildren, Esra Gorduk, Sarah Gorduk, Maryam Gorduk; ten great grandchildren also survive him.
The family will receive friends on Friday December 21, 2018 at the Beck Funeral Home from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm.
A funeral service will be held on Friday December 21, 2018 in the chapel of the Beck Funeral Home at 2:00 pm.
A committal with military honors will follow at the Wolf Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
