Anthony “Tony” Freeman Presley, age 78, of Clayton, Georgia passed away on March 15, 2024.
Tony was born in Toccoa, Georgia on September 30, 1945 to the late Willie Freeman Presley and late Addie Franklin Presley. He graduated from Stephens County High School and attended Piedmont College where he received his Bachelors Degree in Chemistry with a minor in Physics. He then went on to earn a Master’s Degree from University of Georgia. Tony spent his days as a school teacher, first in Hart County and then in Stephens County, teaching Chemistry, Physics, AP Chemistry, and AP Physics.
Tony was a member of Gideon’s International. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, running, and Georgia Football. Anthony served as a Deacan at Grace Baptists Church in Toccoa where he was also in the choir and ensemble. After moving to Clayton Tony Became a member of clayton Baptist Church. He loved his dog, CoCo.
Tony is survived by his wife, Donna P. Presley; brothers, Bob Presley (Susie) and Dr. Delma E. Presley (Beverly); nephews, Worth Presley and Edwin Presley; and niece, Susan Presley.
