Beverley Anne Knox Woodside passed away on Sunday, May 21, 2023. Beverley was born in Waycross, Georgia on July 13, 1933 to the late Jack Herman and the late Mary Jane Satterfield Knox.
She was a member of Clayton Baptist church in Clayton, Georgia. Anne loved her family and never met a stranger and made friends with everyone. She loved her church, and loved singing. Anne said she “didn’t have to grow up, but had to grow old”. She got a degree in child development and was a sub teacher at the Alternative School in Guilford County, North Carolina.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband; Francis Wilton “Woody” Woodside, daughter; Carolyn Camille Woodside , sisters; Jane Taylor and Rosalyn Crooks.
She is survived by her son; Robert Woodside, brother; Bill (Caroline) Knox, sisters; Jackie Fry and Edmee Seagrest, grandchildren; Zintha “ZZ” Stroud, Roberta Dawn “Bobi” Woodside, Grayson Woodside, great grandchildren; Zayden Bunker, Gideon Woodside, Madelyn Woodside, Heather Bunker and Haily Bunker, one great great grandson Zachary James Bunker.
The family is receiving friends at Clayton Baptist Church on Thursday June 15, 2023 from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM with the service starting at 3:00 PM with Reverend Joey Thompson and Reverend David Rogers officiating.
